Rheinsberg is, according to Kurt Tucholsky, "a picture book for lovers". Prussian King Frederick the Great created his court of the Muses here as crown prince in the 18th century - the picturesque location of Rheinsberg Castle on Lake Grienerick certainly contributed to this.
