This restaurant, despite its very German-sounding name, serves delicious Mediterranean-Croatian cuisine. The family-run establishment has long been an institution in Wildau, and is a meat-lover's paradise. Steak dishes can also be found on the menu. The dishes are accompanied with appetizers such as grilled shepherd's cheese, soups and large side dishes.

Selected Croatian wines and draught beer are served with the meals. After each meal a good Croatian schnapps is a must. The dining areas have – as the name of the restaurant would suggest – a rustic ambience with lots of dark wood. On the adjoining outdoor terrace there is room for another 70 people.
