Visitors can get to know Mittenwalde on a guided walk through its charming streets and learn interesting and worthwhile facts about the historically-significant farming town. Places worth seeing include St. Moritz church, where Paul Gerhardt held his masses, and the local history museum. Guided tours on foot are only available by prior arrangement and for groups of ten or more participants. Groups can also enjoy a cup of coffee in the museum after a guided tour subject to prior arrangement.
