The Obstgut Marquardt GbR fruit-growing estate runs a fruit stall on the B273 near Satzkorn, which doubles as a farm shop and also offers pick-your-own fruit. The estate grows strawberries, cherries, apples, plums and peaches, which can be picked straight from the field. The fruit stall sells the farm’s own fruit produce as well as home-grown asparagus since it took over the “Nottebohn” asparagus farm. Dairy produce, eggs, speciality sausages, vegetables, jams, honey, juices and wines, cucumbers from the Spreewald Forest, and shrubs from regional partners are all available. The stall also sells ceramics and willow baskets. There is also a bread counter open at the weekend selling delicious bread and cakes, which you can enjoy with a coffee as you gaze over the planted fields in front of you.
