A cute café named after Crown Princess Cecilie and set in the heart of the Dutch Quarter. With chandeliers, old photos in elaborate picture frames and cosy seating areas, the "Cecile" has a charm all of its own, with the tasteful interior exuding a living-room atmosphere. If you are looking for some light refreshment after a stroll through the district, you’ll find an alternating range of small, seasonal dishes such as soup, goulash, tarte flambée and other delicacies. But the café’s real showpiece are its home-made cakes and tarts. You can enjoy a hot coffee or one of a wide range of fresh tea varieties. About 50 people can be served on the premises. Comfortable wicker chairs provide a perfect spot to sit down and relax in front of the red brick building where the light flickers through the trees.
