"Café Matschke" is located in the former horse stable of the Villa of Maimi von Mirbach between the New Garden and the Russian Colony Alexandrovka. The closeness to the colony is mirrored in the interior and the menu of the café. In the cozy living room atmosphere with the tiled stove and the antique furniture traditional dishes as schnitzel and poultry ragout are offered as well as Russian Borschtsch and Pelmeni. Quiches, soups, salads as well as homemade cakes and a small selection of sweet desserts complete the menu.

Guests are welcome in three small rooms on the lower and upper floors as well as in the lovely green courtyard. The café is exceptional as it shows alternating art exhibitions and performs readings. The events are published online.
