The museum café with terrace and the attractive museum shop make the museum FLUXUS+ a popular cultural spot on the River Havel. Drinks, cakes and snacks can be enjoyed in the conservatory, or when the sun is shining on the terrace with a magnificent view of the Schiffbauergasse waterfront. FLUXUS+ Teatime every Sunday features piano music of various themes and styles.

The museum FLUXUS+ contains modern art specialising in Fluxus, Wolf Vostell and contemporary art over a surface area of over 1,000 square metre. Fluxus is an international art movement dating back to the 1960s that attracted attention through happenings and performances. One of the co-founders in Germany was Wolf Vostell, whose oeuvre is on show at museum FLUXUS+. A range of other well-known Fluxus artists are also featured such as Nam June Paik, Alison Knowles, Yoko Ono, Ben Patterson and Emmett Williams. Works by Sebastian Heiner, Hella De Santarossa, Lutz Friedel and Costantino Ciervo are exhibited in the contemporary art section. In addition to the collection, there is an atrium where the admission-free Fluxus documentation “permanentFLUXUS” is on show.
