It is easy to reach from Berlin by car. There are numerous fishing spots along the shore, but you can also fish from a boat. The reed area on the southern edge of the lake is ideal for fishing. The eastern side of the lake with the Grabowsee Sanatorium is not accessible from the shore. In the warmer periods, the vegetation grows up to the surface of the water and sometimes beyond.

Fully paying members of DAV Berlin – LAV Brandenburg can fish here free of charge. The use of 2 rods and night fishing are allowed here. The night fishing permit is available if you purchase a week or month permit.

This lake is managed by Kreisanglerverband Oberhavel e.V. under the reference number P 14-114; the association also sells day, week and month permits.

Size: 31.24 hectares

Bed: rich in vegetation

Fish species: eel, perch, pike, tench, bream, roach, rudd, white bream
