Lake Zootzensee is located in the north of Brandenburg and is part of the Rheinsberg Lakes Region. The lake, which has many bays and was formerly much larger, covers an area of 167 hectares. It is up to 21 metres deep. There are navigable links in the west via the Repenter Canal to Lake Grosser Zechliner See and in the east via the Zootzen Canal to Lake Tietzowsee.
