Zippelsförde
The Rhin River at Rheinsberg is an inviting place to take a very natural, romantic paddle tour with kayaks. Canadian canoes are not allowed on the waterway. It is also mandatory to head downstream from Rheinsberg to Zippelsförde. Shortly before the end of the tour, a weir blocks the way at the fish farm in Zippelsförde. There you can land on the left bank and carry canoes across the road away from the weir. This spot is also an ideal end point for the paddle tour as there is access to the country road with the bus stop.
It is only permitted to head out on the Rhin River at Rheinsberg at certain times and when the river is at its minimum water level. Information can be obtained from the river level information station, telephone +49 33082 40716.
