On the way out of Mescherin (before the bridge) in the direction of Gryfino, a wooden observation tower has been built on the West Oder that offers a view of the (almost entirely) unspoilt natural landscape of the Lower Oder Valley from a height of about 15 metres. To the North and Northeast, you can see the Oder floodplains, the West Oder and neighbouring Greifenhagen (Gryfino).
