The circular walk, around 7.8 kilometres long, leads through varied woodland and lakeside landscapes and repeatedly offers impressive views of the natural surroundings of Lake Wutz. Whether in the woods or by the water – the route offers numerous opportunities to find peace and recharge your batteries. The diverse impressions of the forest’s scents, colours and sounds create a soothing break from the often hectic pace of everyday life and invite you to perceive your body, life and nature from a new perspective. At the same time, the trail offers fascinating insights into the habitats of many small and large animals and plants.

Along the route, visitors will find four interactive stations designed to deepen their understanding of the natural environment, as well as ten further stations for consciously pausing and becoming aware of their own sensations. In this way, the trail combines knowledge of nature with a special experience of mindfulness.

The walk can start either at the ‘Süße Ecke’ on the market square or at the Sports and Education Centre. The mindfulness trail is ideal for nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet, and anyone who wants to experience Lindow’s lake landscape in a new way.

The trail was completed in July 2025. This followed a feasibility study carried out in 2020 in cooperation with HNE Eberswalde. After an intensive planning phase, the project was successfully implemented with the help of funding from the federal government and the State of Brandenburg as part of the joint programme for the “Improvement of the Regional Economic Structure” (GRW).
