This water-rich stage runs along Lake Lehnitz and the Oder-Havel Canal from Oranienburg into the vast Barnim countryside. Typical Brandenburg villages with village greens, such as Stolzenhagen and Wandlitz, as well as popular swimming lakes and forests, line the route and invite you to stop for a swim. In the Hussite town of Bernau, you’ll find all manner of medieval traces: alongside the picturesque old town, large sections of the town wall are still preserved.
