The café at “Weihnachtshaus Himmelpfort” (Santa’s Grotto Himmelpfort) welcomes its guests to the old village school, with a beautiful courtyard garden and a view of the monastery ruins and Lake Haussee. It can seat 48 guests inside.

Visitors can enjoy first class coffee specialities, delicious cakes or a tasty breakfast. Fresh coffee platters and hearty barbecue buffets outside are available for groups on request.

Santa’s Grotto and the Christmas post office are also here.

Festivals and markets are held on the monastery meadow all year round, whereby the “Weihnachtsmarkt Himmelpfort” Christmas market every weekend in Advent is the highlight of the year.
