Wolf Mieczkowski und Ronald Steinke, as passionate brewers, have taken up the cause of bringing the centuries-old Schwedt brewing tradition back to life. Carthusian monks once brought beer to our town. There was a large brewery at the Carthusian monastery up until the turn of the century, which also supplied the surrounding districts. Beers of all kinds have found a home here at the brewery according to ancient tradition. There are no limits to the possible varieties. To us, every malt kernel and every hop cone has a part to play in producing these artisanal treats. Down-to-earth and handmade, homely and sustainable, creative and worthwhile, musical, hearty and open characteristics and values that are reflected in every brew, every beer and every word.
