Our holiday home is idyllically located on the village green in Katerbow, right behind the little village church. There is a terrace and a small garden behind the house. Katerbow has an attractive lake, which is about 70 metres from the house. It is the ideal destination for hikers and walkers to relax in nature, surrounded by forest and meadows. In the village there is a playground, a corner shop and a restaurant with a summer garden. The nearby Fontane town of Neuruppin offers our visitors even more recreational facilities such as a swimming pool, sports centre, steamer trips, the Gesundbrunnen (Neuruppin’s spa centre), shopping etc. There is an open air theatre in the neighbouring village. The Theatersommer Netzeband festival presents performances in summer and on weekends that are popular beyond the region. Rheinsberg is 20 kilometres away. It is a fantastic destination for a day out with its castle and beautiful lakes as well as the chamber opera.
