The Palmenhof was created in 1993 from a building that was formerly used for agricultural purposes. Until it was extended with the addition of a restaurant but was initially only a bed and breakfast. After painstaking conversion and extension of the existing buildings with the addition of new facilities, the Palmenhof was opened as restaurant and guest house. Designed based on experience with great attention to detail, the outdoor area features botanical treasures from which the Palmenhof takes its name – some of these can be admired in winter, too. We now offer 14 comfortably furnished guest rooms, one of which is a family room with a balcony, and 3 apartments for families, one of which has a balcony with a view of the garden. The inn has a superb terrace surrounded by palm trees and other subtropical plants and an inviting restaurant area where tasty hot meals are served 7 days a week. Family celebrations of all kinds can be held on the premises, based on sound professional and competent advice. The party service is also available for events at home.
