Discover, touch, experience – the NaturParkHaus in Menz offers a fantastic journey through natural spaces and sensory gardens. Visitors can explore the special features of the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park and enjoy a fascinating hands-on exhibition that appeals to all the senses. There are mysterious ants’ corridors to explore, and you can spend a moonlit night in the forest, talk to local animals on the phone and discover many other secrets of nature. The sensory garden next to the building has lots of herbs, shrubs and other plants to taste, smell, feel and hear.

In addition to a visit here, there is also an approximately 6-kilometre walk you can go on that follows the forest and aquatic adventure trail around Lake Roofenseen, as well as the moor adventure trail. Information booklets and rucksacks are available for loan at the NaturParkHaus.

In addition to the permanent exhibition at the centre, alternating exhibitions and theme days are held at the affiliated “Regionalwerkstatt”.

The visitor centre in Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park offers barrier-free access. Environmental education programmes can be booked.
