In our small rental house “Friedolin,” with a lake view out front and the Fürstenberg Old Town behind it, in a quiet and sunny location, we offer three lovingly designed double-room-and-bath units (one with a sauna) on the raised ground floor, accessible via a few steps. Two of these are located on either side of the shared, fully equipped kitchen-dining area in the sunroom with a wood-burning stove. The third unit has a separate entrance and can be added to the property via the hallway, either internally or externally (see floor plan).

The garden (with an herb garden) and the large, sunny terrace are perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, barbecuing, and dining.

There is good Wi-Fi, games, a tuned piano, and a selection of interesting books. 

Ideal as a cozy vacation base for couples or groups of friends, or even for families with young children or teenagers—a great starting point for hiking, biking, or boating trips.

Right across the street on Lake Baalen are the “Ahoi” boat rental and SUP station (about 150 m) and, just across the pedestrian bridge, the beautiful Havelpark Forest with a swimming area (about 300 m).

The town square, with its shops, supermarket, and cafés/restaurants, is also nearby (200 m). The Fürstenberg train station (RE5 to Berlin) is about a 7-minute walk away.

Unit 1, located on the “right” as shown on the floor plan, is accessed via the sunroom/kitchen-diner in the adjacent building, which features a green roof and skylights that can be opened by remote control. It features a double bed (160x200 cm), hardwood floors, a mosaic-tiled bathroom with underfloor heating, a walk-in shower, and a sauna (electricity costs extra: €10 per cycle).

Unit 2 "center" (see floor plan) is located on the opposite side of the sunroom/kitchen-diner in the main house. It has one bedroom with a double bed (160x200 cm) and an entryway with a sofa and a piano, as well as a tiled bathroom with a lake view and a large walk-in shower.

Unit 3, “left” (see floor plan), can also be accessed independently via the hallway or through Unit 2. It also has a double bed (160x200 cm), a floor-to-ceiling French door with a view of the garden and lake, and its own shower room.

All rooms and bathrooms have central heating and hot water; the sunroom/kitchen-diner is heated by a wood-burning stove as needed.

There are 2 private parking spaces directly across the street.

Prices vary by season and room/occupancy combination; please inquire for details, e.g.,

- Long weekend: 3 nights, 2 units, up to 4 people. Winter season: 250 €, high season: 375 €

- 1-week package: all 3 units, up to 6 people. Winter season: 600 €, high season: 900 €

Plus, as needed: linens and towels 30 € per 2 people; final cleaning 40 € plus 25 € for each additional unit; all arrangements subject to agreement.
