Culture guest house “Alte Reederei” is a homely holiday and leisure centre right on the River Havel, not far from the town centre of Fürstenberg. Here you will find hotel rooms and holiday apartments for your holiday or just for an overnight stay on your hiking or cycling tour, by car or canoe. The restaurant serving good food and the two lakeside terraces were awarded the top ranking by TripAdvisor.

The accommodations are grouped around a lovingly designed garden in different sections of the building. Recreation rooms are also available: the “Wasserhaus” with a sauna, a lounge for guests and a platform over the River Havel, as well as a small cinema on the upper floor of the cyclists’ hostel, where cultural events such as readings, exhibitions and discussion meetings also take place.

The rooms and holiday apartments are comfortable and suitably furnished, so both young and old feel good there. In the main building, there are two family apartments with a balcony to the garden and three compact apartments for couples in love.

In the part of the building known as the cyclists’ hostel, hotel rooms with a shower/toilet are available. Two of these have single beds; they can also be booked as single rooms. At the culture guest house, groups can be accommodated by arrangement and meetings and workshops can be held.

A barbecue, fire pit, games and toys, a covered terrace and, on request, an outdoor kitchen are available to holiday guests. You can go swimming from the jetty on site or simply relax, both physically and mentally. The rooms and holiday apartments are on the River Havel side and the garden side.

Canoes and motor boats as well as the “Hermine” launch are available for individual days out.
