Arrival.

First of all, it's time to arrive - on the boat, which will be both home and vehicle for the next few days. For the crew, this means putting away their clothes and toys. In the meantime, the cook takes care of the fridge - and the captain familiarizes himself with the new means of transport under the expert guidance of the boat hire company. The adventurers spend the first night in the harbor, gently rocking themselves to sleep and dreaming of the planned boat tour through the Ruppiner Seenland.

Cast off.

The next morning, the journey begins. The destination for day two is Mildenberg, or to be more precise, the "Alter Hafen" marina. And then the Ziegeleipark is conquered. This is a technology museum and adventure playground in one - every member of the family will find something to suit their taste.

On the third day, the adventurous trip to Fürstenberg/Havel is on the agenda. On this section, everyone becomes a lock pro! Because there are four watergates to pass through. With every lock, the teamwork on board works a little better! After an overnight stay in the Fürstenberg marina, you head across the Woblitz through the “Green Canyon” on a detour to Lychen. From the town jetty, it's good to feel solid ground under your feet again - at this point, by the way, it's exceptionally uckermark ground...

The return trip on day five takes you to Himmelpfort - where Santa has his own post office. You can moor at the floating dock of the Stolpsee boathouse - and then see if Santa Claus happens to be there?

After the overnight stay, the trip planner for day six says: back to Mildenberg! Now the little lock pros can experience the adventure route in the opposite direction. And best of all: the next day there's time for the Ziegeleipark again - who hasn't yet, who wants to go again? In the evening, it's back to the starting point in Zehdenick. Let the waves lull you into sweet dreams, but the next morning everyone has to say goodbye to their temporary floating home...

Duration: 8 days/7 nights

Water profile: The Havel meanders strongly, Himmelpfort and Fürstenberg/Havel offer wide lakes. The Woblitz is a largely straight river with few turns, which flows into the wide Großer Lychensee.

Nautical information: Locks are located in Schorfheide, Zaaren, Regow, Bredereiche and Himmelpfort (for the detour to Lychen).

Petrol stations: Boat refueling stations are located in the Zehdenick marina and in the “Neuer Hafen” marina in Mildenberg.

The recommended mooring points are well suited to the freeboard height of this type of boat of the "Febomobil" (waterline to upper edge of deck: between 40 cm and 55 cm, depending on the position in the water).

Further detailed information about the waters, locks and supply options along the route can be found in the “Törnatlas - Mecklenburgische und Märkische Gewässer” and the “Törnplaner - Mecklenburgische und Märkische Gewässer” published by Quick Maritim Medien.
