Near the town centre of Fehrbellin, water tourists who are paddling their way through Rhinluch have to carry their canoes around a weir. The embankment is quite steep, making it quite difficult to carry boats around. The support infrastructure for portage is increasingly being developed.

It is worth stopping off here: The town centre is within walking distance, with its historic church, the monument to the Great Elector and lots of places to stop for some refreshments.

The leg via Wustrauer Rhin to Fehrbellin is part of an attractive 40 kilometre long paddle round course via Linum and Altfriesack.
