The Hedwig Bollhagen Museum in the “stove town” of Velten, opened in 2015, is definitely worth a visit and forms a joint museum site together with the adjoining stove and ceramic museum. The latter recalls the town’s heyday, when the former small village centred around a village green grew in importance because of its trade in tiles for stoves in the nearby city of Berlin.
