Our youth hostel, built in the style of a monastery in 1925 and now completely modernised, is situated right by Lake Grosser Prebelowsee in the middle of the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land nature park, ten kilometres to the north of Rheinsberg. Situated right at the edge of the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte lake plateau, the building is set amid a paradise for both water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. For culture enthusiasts there is Rheinsberg House. 85 beds are available in 19 rooms for a pleasant night in two to eight-beds dormitories including shower, toilet and lockers. There is also a wheelchair-friendly room with a shower and toilet. Cots and high chairs are available. Alongside two lounges and a seminar room, our guests can take advantage of the following leisure activities: piano, guitar, disco equipment, barbecue and fire basket, billiards, darts and table football, internet, computer games, card games, board games and society games, plus a small library and multimedia. The surrounding area includes a large bathing area, a steamboat landing stage, and bicycle and roller-skating paths. We will also be happy to help you arrange canoe tours, visits to local riding schools and even full programmes for families and groups. The youth hostel also has a tent area with modern bathroom facilities, where up to 30 people can pitch their tents. Our modern kitchen is equipped for full board and if you wish can also provide lunch boxes for day trips.
